second off: for everyone who says "but teaching in south LA must be so... dangerous!" i would like to remind everyone that death is a fact of life to teachers in all corners of the world.
i have scads of laundry and i am a bit sickly. *sniffle* the change in weather screwed me up.

I teach. I love the act of teaching; I hate the job of teaching. I enjoy coming to work in the morning. I consider quitting teaching because of the bureaucracy. I would have quit teaching were it not for my students. Funny things happen.
